Yes. Every kit comes with a printing guide that walks you through inking, placing and stamping your blocks, so you can start with no experience at all. If you’d like to practise first, try a few test prints on scrap paper or fabric before you print your pouch or bag.

Each kit includes hand-carved Indian Blackberry wood blocks, an ink tray, non-toxic block printing ink, a paintbrush, a printing guide and the blanks you’ll print. At home you’ll just need a flat surface, an old towel or yoga mat to provide a cushioned surface to print on, scrap paper or fabric for test prints, and an apron or clothes you don’t mind getting ink on.

Yes, and we hope you will. The blocks and tray are the same tools we use in our studio, made to last. Once you’ve printed your first piece, you can keep printing on just about anything; cards, napkins, your clothes - the options are endless.

Once dry, the ink is permanent. Leave your print to dry for 72 hours at room temperature before you use or wash it. While the ink is still wet, it cleans easily with soap and warm water. Clean your blocks, tray and brush straight after printing with soap and warm water to make sure you can use them again.

Hand washing is best, though you can machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle. Just make sure your print has had its full 72 hours to dry first.

We aim to ship within 48 hours of your order, and shipping is free on orders over $95. If something isn’t right, you can return unused items in their original condition within 30 days of your original shipment date, and we’ll send you a free return label. Please contact us within 30 days of delivery if anything arrives damaged.
